Viranj Vekaria

Viranj Vekaria is a General Assembly Manufacturing Engineer at Lucid Motors since October 2021, where key responsibilities include leading automation projects worth $13 million for the launch of new automation cells. Prior to this role, Viranj served as an Equipment Maintenance Tech at Tesla, focusing on improving robotic equipment and programming Fanuc Robots in automated settings. Viranj also gained academic experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, assisting students in Thermal Engineering and Fluid Mechanics. Earlier experiences include a Summer Research Intern position at Nirma University, where an articulated robotic arm was designed, and a Mechanical Design Engineer role with Nirma Robocon, leading a team in robot design and manufacturing. Viranj holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Nirma University.
