Yash Pathak

Yash Pathak is a Battery Modeling Engineer II at Lucid Motors, specializing in the development of battery equivalent circuit models and optimizing methods to reduce testing requirements. Previous experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Michigan and interning at Our Next Energy, where Yash developed an impedance estimation algorithm and a physics-based battery model. While at the University of Michigan, Yash also contributed as a Research Assistant on projects focused on lithium metal anode synthesis and battery modeling. Earlier roles included engineering training at Fleetguard Filters, where Yash modeled air filter systems and conducted analyses, and leadership positions at SolarMobil Manipal. Yash holds a Master of Engineering in Energy Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology.
