Galen King

Galen King is an experienced ecommerce advisor, having held the role of Ecommerce Advisor at Galen King Consulting since 2021. Prior to this, they were the Founder & Strategic Director at Lucid, a Shopify Plus agency, from 2000 to 2021. In 2021, they were also engaged as a Beachhead Advisor for the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, where they helped Kiwi brands get more out of Shopify Plus to ramp up the growth of their direct-to-consumer ecommerce business. In addition, they have been a Founder & Advisor for Kirby Lane since 2016, The Foodbank Project since 2015, and The Bridge Street Collective since 2011. Galen was also the Founder of Expertly by Lucid from 2016, Founder & CEO of Kiwipay from 2004, Managing Director of The Grain Mill Company from 2004, and Web Designer for JPM Guides from 2001.

Galen King attended Waimea College from 1994 to 1998. Galen then went on to the University of Canterbury, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA in 2001. Galen also holds a Shopify Expert certification from Shopify.
