Gareth Jones is currently a Senior Scientist at Lucideon Ltd, serving as the technical lead for applying flash sintering to various client-driven applications in the energy, nuclear, aerospace, and defence sectors. They previously conducted a PhD at the University of Warwick, focusing on the flash sintering of ceramic solid-state electrolytes, and have experience as a research student at the Technical University Eindhoven. Prior to their current role, Gareth held the position of technical lead for field-enhanced sintering activities in the UK and worked extensively on advanced ceramic materials and applications. Gareth earned a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Warwick, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering.
