Jakob Maya

Jakob Maya has extensive experience in the lighting industry, serving in various leadership roles since 1988. Currently, Jakob is a member of the Technical Advisory Board at Brilli, a Lucidity Lights company, and serves as Chairman of the Technology Board at Finally Light Bulb Company, which specializes in energy-efficient lighting solutions. As President and CEO of Next Light LLC since 2006, Jakob provides advanced lighting technologies and product development for mid-size lighting companies. Previous positions include Vice President of Development and Manufacturing at Lucidity Lights, Technology Provider at Havells-Sylvania, and Vice President at Panasonic, where significant product innovations were achieved. Jakob's early career includes a role as Director of R&D and Engineering at Gte/Sylvania. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Engineering & Applied Science from Yale University and a BSEE in Electronics from Robert College.
