LUCID
Audrey Chan has a diverse work experience, with their most recent role as a Machine Learning Engineer at LUCID. In this position, they focused on developing models to predict mental and emotional states associated with audio features, and also worked on conditional generative adversarial networks (CGANs) to generate music composition insights. Audrey analyzed data using Python, Jupyter notebook, and BigQuery, and extracted music features from audio using MATLAB, MIRtoolbox, and Librosa. Prior to LUCID, Audrey worked as a Senior R&D Engineer at Baylis Medical Company, where they were responsible for product development and conducted statistical data analysis. Audrey also worked as a Business Analyst at Raeallan, where they were involved in web/social media strategy and business development. Audrey's earlier experience includes a role as a Process Improvement Scientist at Sanofi Pasteur.
Audrey Chan obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc) degree in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto, where they studied between 2007 and 2012. In 2019, they enrolled in a Data Science Immersive program at General Assembly and received a certificate upon completion.
