Johanna Parker has a diverse work experience, starting in 2008 where they worked as a Senior Technical Recruiter for Outsource Technical. Johanna then moved on to Guidance Software, where they held the positions of Business Development Representative and Senior Business Development Representative in the Sales department. In 2012, Johanna joined Axios Systems as a Business Development professional, later transitioning to the role of Account Development Manager and then Customer Success Manager. In 2019, they joined Lucidworks as a Customer Success Director and was promoted to Senior Customer Success Director in 2021. Currently, Johanna holds the position of Head of Customer Success at Lucidworks. Johanna also has future plans to join the company Chief as a Member in 2023.

Johanna Parker's education history begins in 1999 when they attended Cheltenham High School, where they earned their high school diploma in General Studies in 2003. Following this, from 2003 to 2007, Johanna attended Johnson & Wales University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Sales and Meeting Management, Hospitality Management, and Events.
