Tom Faillace has a diverse work experience spanning several companies in various roles. Tom began their career at Aetna Life & Casualty in 1986 as a Sr. Programmer Analyst, where they worked until 1991. Following this, they joined Virginia Farm Bureau as a Programmer Analyst from 1991 to 1994. Since 1994, they have been working at Luck Companies as the Head of Digital Products.

Tom Faillace earned their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in Business Management from the University of Hartford, where they studied from 1981 to 1985. Tom then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Systems from the Virginia Commonwealth University - School of Business, completing their studies between 1993 and 1997.

In terms of additional certifications, Tom Faillace obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in April 2012. Tom also earned the PMI-ACP certification from the same institution in December 2015. Tom further expanded their expertise by completing two courses from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. In October 2017, they obtained the certification for "Getting Started: Agile Meets Design Thinking," and the certification for "Running Product Design Sprints" followed in November of the same year.
