Doug Palmore

Doug has been with Luck Companies in Richmond, VA since 1996 and currently serves as Vice President of Luck Stone’s Central Region. His areas of responsibility include growth, operations, sales, and logistics for quarries in Virginia and North Carolina. He also has responsibility for Luck Ecosystems which is an engineered soil and environmental products business. Doug currently serves on the Boards of Directors for the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Rice Rivers Center (Chairman), the Luck Companies Foundation, National Stone, Sand, and Gravel Association (NSSGA), and is chair of the NSSGA Legal and Policy Group.

Prior to joining Luck Companies, Doug worked as an Environmental Engineer for Virginia Geotechnical Services in Richmond. Doug holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia, an MS in Civil/Environmental Engineering from Virginia Tech, an MBA from the University of Richmond, and he is a licensed Professional Engineer.
