Darren Johnston

Darren Johnston is an experienced copywriter and content creator currently working at Lucky Beard, a global design company, since May 2022. Previously, Darren contributed to Stratitude (AMIN Worldwide South Africa) as a copywriter and content creator from February 2019 to May 2022, and served as a digital content specialist at BRAND et al from January 2015 to February 2019, where responsibilities included strategy formulation, copywriting, and creative direction. Earlier roles include a junior researcher and strategist and account executive at BRAND et al, and operations and business manager at Mercury Logistics, managing import/export operations and key accounts. Darren began a career in marketing as a formal field marketer for DMG/MTN. Educationally, Darren holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing/Marketing Management from the University of South Africa, completed between 2006 and 2010.
