Tim Came has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Tim began their career in 1989 as the co-owner and managing director of specialty hospitality businesses in Southern Africa. This involved founding and operating a hot air balloon company, joining a safari company, and creating their own river safari business. In 2002, Tim transitioned to sales management, working as a sales manager for Wilkin and Sons Ltd, where they drove double-digit growth through increased market penetration and the launch of premium sauces. Tim then became the managing director of Thursday Cottage Ltd, a subsidiary of Wilkin and Sons, where they significantly grew turnover and profits through strong branding and manufacturing operations. Tim later held roles as a commercial director responsible for exports at Fairfields Farm Produce, where they oversaw the production of high-quality hand-cooked crisps, and as a sales director and shareholder at Davina Steel - Gluten Free Bread, where they played a strategic sales role in the gluten-free baking brand. Tim also served as a consultant and dedicated fan at The Wessex Wild Plum Company and as a non-executive director and shareholder at Lucy's Dressings, both of which are renowned for their exceptional food products.

Tim Came earned their MBA degree in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations from Cranfield School of Management from 1997 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed their Bsc Hons degree in Zoology from the University of Bristol from 1985 to 1988. Tim received their A levels (A, A, B) and O levels from Radley College, where they studied from 1980 to 1984.
