Melissa Johnson M.ed.

Melissa Johnson, M.Ed., currently serves as Assistant Principal at Lufkin Independent School District since July 2021, following a robust teaching career. Prior roles include 3rd grade gifted and talented math and science teacher, and middle school math instructor at Pineywoods Community Academy from August 2012 to July 2021, and teaching roles at Nacogdoches Independent School District and Pasadena Independent School District from 2006 to 2012. Melissa Johnson earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Lamar University in 2017 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Services from Stephen F. Austin State University, completed in 2004.
