Dr. Laura Schmidt

Dr. Laura Schmidt currently serves as a Lecturer in Economics at DHBW Mannheim and holds the position of Manager Global Sales Performance and Business Intelligence at Lufthansa Cargo. With prior experience as a Solution Consultant at RELEX Solutions and a Doctoral Researcher at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Dr. Schmidt applied machine learning in development economics during doctoral studies. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in International Economics and Public Policy from Goethe University Frankfurt and a Bachelor of Science in International Business Information Technology from DHBW Mannheim. Dr. Schmidt has also contributed to Lufthansa Systems as a Junior IT Project Manager and has supervised various undergraduate and master's theses in economics.
