Mathias Kern

Mathias Kern possesses extensive experience in IT operations and management, currently serving as a Senior Consultant in IT Operations and IT & Provider Management at Lufthansa Systems since October 2017. Kern previously held positions at Lufthansa, managing relationships for LSY at LH IT Infrastructure from June 2015 to September 2017, and served in various capacities at Lufthansa Systems, including Director of IBM Mainframe Solutions from April 2007 to December 2012 and Manager of Strategic Projects between 2004 and 2007. Additionally, Kern worked at Deutsche Lufthansa from 2000 to 2004 as Director of IT Systems Crew-Management and Operations, and has a foundational background at Lufthansa Technik, where roles included Manager of IT Systems Aircraft Maintenance from 1987 to 2000. Kern holds a Master’s Degree in Physics and Information Technology from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, completed between 1980 and 1986.
