Swen Himmel has extensive experience in product development and IT leadership within the aviation industry, currently serving as the Head of Product Development, Standards and IT at Lufthansa Systems FlightNav, overseeing a large team across multiple locations. With a strong background in agile project management and product ownership, Swen has successfully managed production teams and software development initiatives throughout various roles at Lufthansa Systems. Prior experience as Managing Partner at apis@orbi involved the development of web-based GIS solutions and client consulting. Swen holds a degree in Geography from The Philipp University of Marburg, complementing a solid foundation in IT and project management.
