LUKE CUNNINGHAM CLERE

We are litigation and public law experts. From complex criminal enforcement and civil litigation to precedent-setting public law and human rights issues, we partner with clients to deliver the clarity, direction and results they’re after. We believe in the power of the law to protect and champion the public interest, and we’re here to do just that with clients all over New Zealand. We are acutely attuned to the particular requirements of public sector clients, and we act with public service values in mind at all times. When you partner with us you’ll work with experienced specialists who have a deep knowledge of public sector issues, plenty of energy, and fresh thinking: We are the largest and most experienced specialist litigation firm in Wellington, and act for clients based throughout New Zealand. Our lawyers are expert litigators, appearing in court as advocates for our clients on a regular basis. We attract and retain exceptional lawyers who choose to work with us to develop their advocacy skills. We are structured to provide excellent legal services in a cost-effective way. In addition to our Crown Solicitor work, we are an approved panel provider under the All-of-Government external legal services contract, which enables us to provide litigation, public law and other external legal services to departments, agencies and organisations across the state sector. While public sector clients are at the core of our business, we also work with a number of private sector clients who value our approach.
