Rafael Vara

Rafael Vara has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Rafael started their career in 1995 as a Director at Hay Group, a leading global HR consultancy. During their time there, they were a member of the European Committee for change management, HR development, and leadership. In 2005, Rafael joined CaixaBank as the General Manager of Vialogos, where they specialized in defining and implementing strategies, business models, and customer experience. In 2009, they became the CEO of Lukkap, a company that provides transition solutions for organizations, focusing on employee and customer experience. Rafael also led Lukkap Venture Lab, supporting startups through capital injection, consulting, and acceleration. Additionally, Rafael holds the position of Member of the Board at Lukkap since 2015. Prior to their corporate roles, they served as a Strategy Professor at Universidad Pontificia Comillas from 1995.

Rafael Vara attended the Universidad Pontificia Comillas from 1990 to 1995, where they obtained a degree in Licenciado en Administración y Dirección de Empresas. Rafael also completed an Executive Program at Harvard University and studied at the IESE Business School.
