Mirza Saquib Us Sarwar

Mirza Saquib us Sarwar is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in machine learning and sensor technology. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at The University of British Columbia since September 2024 and a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at lululemon since June 2021, Mirza previously held roles as a Research Engineer at Honda Research Institute USA, Inc. and a Research Associate at The University of British Columbia, where major contributions included the development of a multi-modal sensor for robotic applications. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of British Columbia, complemented by a Master's and Bachelor's degree in related fields from the same institution and Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, respectively.
