Renee Hackenmiller-Paradis

Renee Hackenmiller-Paradis is a seasoned professional in environmental health and sustainable chemistry, currently serving as Senior Director of Chemicals Management at lululemon since October 2023, where vision and strategy for improved chemical use are developed. Additionally, Renee contributes to the Safer Chemistry Impact Fund as an Advisory Board Member, focusing on transitioning to safer chemical alternatives. As a Board Member of the ZDHC Roadmap to Zero Programme and a former Director of the Chemistry Center of Excellence at Nike, Renee has extensive experience in promoting sustainable practices within the supply chain. Previous roles include managerial and advisory positions at the Oregon Health Authority and the Oregon Environmental Council, along with consulting work at SHARP Strategies Consulting, LLC. Renee holds a PhD in Genetics from the University of Chicago, an MPH in Health Management and Policy from Portland State University, and a BS in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Washington.
