Carla Andre-Brown

Carla Andre-Brown has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Carla currently works as an Associate Product Trainer at Luma Health since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Instructor at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, teaching digital marketing strategies. Carla also had roles as a Learning and Development Manager and Content Marketer at Mailbird, where they focused on simplifying email management. From 2015 to 2020, Carla worked at Euphorica Solutions, Inc., first as a Digital Account Specialist and later as a Content Marketing Manager. Carla also worked as an IELTS Test Invigilator at Coast English Testing from 2015 to 2019. Carla has experience as a self-employed English as a Second Language Instructor, as well as a Junior Program Coordinator at International House Pacific. Carla has also worked as a Teacher and Breaktime Games Coordinator at CSLI Canadian as a Second Language Institute. Carla's earlier work experience includes roles as a Cultural Ambassador at MYK, providing a Canadian experience to Japanese students, and as Upper Staff in Programming and Drama at Timber Lake West Camp.

Carla Andre-Brown completed their Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree at Douglas College from 2006 to 2010. Carla then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Spanish Expression and Culture at Concordia University, where they studied from 2010 to 2012. Currently, Carla is attending the University of Saskatchewan to obtain their Master of Education (MEd) degree in Educational/Instructional Technology, which they expect to complete between 2021 and 2023.
