Jimmy Huang (黃志明)

Jimmy Huang (黃志明) has a diverse work experience in various roles within the field of analytics and data analysis. Jimmy is currently working as an Analytics Engineer at Luma Health, a position they started in 2022. Prior to this, Jimmy held a role at Shopee, where they served as an Analytics Manager for Payments from 2021 to 2022 and as a Project Manager for Data Analytics from 2021 to 2022.

Before joining Shopee, Jimmy worked at Bit Capital as a Data Analyst from 2020 to 2021, where they were responsible for designing and implementing ETL processes and monitoring performance issues on enterprise data pipelines. Prior to Bit Capital, they worked at inGaia as a Data Analyst from 2019 to 2020, where they developed ELT processes and analytical reports, ensuring their quality and consistency.

Prior to their positions at Bit Capital and inGaia, Jimmy served as a Data Analyst at Sigmix-tecnologia Da Informacao Ltda from 2018 to 2019. Jimmy started their career at Access informatica Ltda as a Full Stack Developer, where they worked from 2011 to 2018.

Throughout their career, Jimmy has demonstrated skills in data modeling, analysis techniques, building and maintaining data models, recruiting and training employees, and implementing big data architectures.

Jimmy Huang (黃志明) obtained their Postgraduate Degree in Data Engineering from FIAP, which they pursued from 2022 to 2023. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Technology - BTech in Analise e Desenvolvimento de Sistemas from Uninove - Universidade Nove de Julho, where they studied from 2019 to 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Jimmy has also earned various certifications to enhance their skills. Jimmy obtained a Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate from Coursera in July 2021. In August 2020, they completed the course "Applied Plotting, Charting & Data Representation in Python" offered by the University of Michigan through Coursera. Furthermore, in July 2020, they earned a certification in "Analyzing Big Data with SQL" from Cloudera, also through Coursera.
