Carlye Lauff

Carlye Lauff, PhD, serves as an Assistant Professor of Product Design at the University of Minnesota and is a Senior Instructor at LUMA Institute, where the focus is on Human-Centered Design. Lauff has extensive experience in design-driven innovation, leading workshops and training for diverse clients through Carlye Lauff Consulting LLC. Previous roles include Adjunct Fellow at SUTD Academy, Design Research & Strategy Consultant at Desklight, and User Experience Design Strategist at the University of Colorado Boulder. Lauff's academic background includes a PhD in Design Theory and Methodology from the University of Colorado Boulder, along with multiple degrees from Penn State University. Lauff is recognized for founding the CU Boulder Design for America studio and has collaborated globally through various prestigious institutions.
