Ian Vest

Ian Vest started their work experience as a Footwear Specialist at DICK'S Sporting Goods from June 2017 to March 2018. Ian then worked as a Student Worker at Bridgewater College Equestrian Center from February 2018 to April 2018. Ian then joined Salveo Diagnostics, Inc. as an Intern/Lab Assistant from May 2018 to August 2018, where they prepared assays, performed routine maintenance on lab equipment, and learned about LC-MS/MS theory and software. Ian continued working at Salveo Diagnostics, Inc. as a Mass Spec Laboratory Technologist from June 2019 to October 2019, performing assays and maintenance on the Sciex 5500 LC-MS/MS and GC-FID systems. Their most recent role was as an Instrumentation Biologist at LumaCyte, starting in April 2020.

Ian Vest received their high school education from Floyd High School from 2010 to 2015, where they obtained a High School Diploma with a focus on Advanced Studies. Following this, they attended Bridgewater College from 2015 to 2019, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Applied Chemistry. Ian also obtained a certification in Machine Learning: From Data to Decisions from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in August 2021.
