Thang Nguyen

Thang Nguyen has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Systems Engineer at Infodat International, Inc., where they were responsible for the complete life cycle development of various IT projects for oil & gas industry companies. Thang was also skilled in implementing LabVIEW object-oriented programming technology.

In 2008, Thang joined John Deere as a Product Engineer, where they played a crucial role in researching, developing, and testing simulator systems for agricultural vehicle platforms and utility equipment. These simulator systems were internal tools used by engineers from different departments.

From 2010 to 2012, Thang worked as a Senior Control Systems Engineer at Fluidnet Corporation. Thang was responsible for researching and implementing algorithms and production codes for control IV pump devices. Thang'swork adhered to FDA guidelines for Class II medical devices.

In 2013, Thang joined G2 Technologies Inc as a LabVIEW Software Engineer. Thang conducted research and development of software for automated control, test, and inspection systems. Additionally, they were a certified National Instrument professional instructor, delivering course instruction in LabVIEW and TestStand.

Currently, Thang is working at LumaCyte as the Director of Software Engineering. Thang'sresponsibilities include leading the software engineering team and overseeing the development of the Illuminate software suite for distributed embedded bio instruments that utilize laser force and optical technology to analyze single cells.

Thang Nguyen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronic from Vietnam National University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Thang later pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, completing the program from 2005 to 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Thang Nguyen has obtained several certifications. In October 2022, they earned the certification "Getting Started with Deep Learning" from NVIDIA. Thang also holds the certifications of "NI Certified Professional Instructor" from National Instruments, obtained in November 2013, "Certified LabVIEW Architect" obtained in March 2015, and "Certified TestStand Architect" obtained in June 2014.
