Charlotte Majerczyk has a diverse work experience spanning different roles in scientific research, medical writing, and teaching. Charlotte is currently working as an Associate Scientific Director at Lumanity since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Medical Project Manager at Cello Health Communications starting from April 2019. Before that, they served as a Senior Medical Writer at C4 MedSolutions, LLC. A CHC Group Company from August 2017 to March 2019. Charlotte also worked as an independent contractor as a Medical Writer from January 2015 to August 2017. Earlier in their career, they were a Research Associate at Oregon State University from November 2015 to June 2017 and also worked as an Instructor at Central Oregon Community College from September 2014 to September 2015. In terms of education and research experience, they were a Research Fellow at the University of Washington from October 2009 to July 2014, where they investigated bacterial diseases using different models. Charlotte also worked as a Graduate Student and Teaching Assistant at Tufts University from 2004 to 2009, focusing on the study of bacterial physiology and disease. Additionally, they served as a Honors Thesis Student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 2002 to 2004.
Charlotte Majerczyk completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Cell and Structural Biology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2000 to 2004. Following this, they went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Microbiology at Tufts University, where they studied from 2004 to 2009.
