Jose Gomez

Jose Gomez has over 29 years of work experience in the field of graphic design and art direction. Jose has held various positions in different companies throughout their career. Their most recent role is as an Art Director at Lumanity, where they have been working since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Art Director at Cyan Health, a Lumanity business, from 2021 to 2022. Before that, they served as a Production-Graphic Designer at Minuteman Press of Newark in 2020. Jose also worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer at Thorlabs from 2019 to 2020. From 2000 to 2019, they held various roles at McCann Health New Jersey, including Manager_Artist/Designer Development. Jose also worked as a Graphic Design Group Supervisor at McCann Torre Lazur from 2000 to 2006 and as an Art Director at Robert A Becker Euro RSCG from 2000 to 2000. Their early work experience includes a role as a Graphic Designer at New Woman Magazine from 1993 to 1995.

Jose Gomez obtained a Bachelor's degree in Design & Advertising from the School of Visual Arts in 1991. Additionally, they attended the Joe Kubert School of Cartooning & Design, specializing in Animation/Illustration. Furthermore, Jose pursued studies in Computer Graphics at the Parsons School of Design - The New School. In terms of certifications, they obtained several through LinkedIn, including Adobe XD Essential Training: Design, After Effects CC 2019 Essential Training: The Basics, Sketch Essential Training: The Basics, and Sketch for UX Design, all in June 2020.
