Richard Nieman

Richard Nieman currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Medical Strategy at Lumanity since April 2025 and is a Visiting Senior Lecturer at King's College London in the School of Cancer & Pharmaceutical Sciences. Previously, Richard Nieman held the position of Chief Medical Officer at Lyra Therapeutics from July 2022 to July 2024 and was the Chief Development & Medical Officer at Norgine from December 2021 to March 2022. Richard Nieman also served as Senior Vice President WW Medical and Head of Immunology & Fibrosis at Bristol Myers Squibb from September 2018 to November 2021, and held various roles there including Vice President WW Medical. Richard Nieman's early education includes earning an MBBS degree from Imperial College London and a Research Fellowship in Cystic Fibrosis at the National Heart and Lung Institute, UK.
