Paul Collins

Paul Collins is an experienced operations and sales professional with a strong background in the energy sector. Currently serving as Operations Director at Lumcloon Energy since May 2022, Paul leads the development and operation of grid scale energy storage, solar, OCGT, and data center projects in Ireland. Prior experience includes sales management roles at GE Power from January 2017 to May 2022, where Paul managed Gas Product Sales Europe and account management for the UK and Ireland, as well as serving as Plant Manager at Tynagh Power Station and Maintenance Manager at Dublin Bay Power Plant. Paul's career began in engineering, with roles at RWE, Energia, Gas Networks Ireland, and Siemens, focusing on maintenance, operations, and commissioning within power generation. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from University College Dublin, a Diploma in Financial Management from ACCA, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Limerick.
