Venkatramanan Kannan

Venkatramanan Kannan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Venkatramanan is currently working at Lumel as the Lead Product Developer, a role they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, Venkatramanan worked at Lumel as a Senior Developer from August 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining Lumel, Venkatramanan worked at Visual BI Solutions as a Frontend Developer from November 2018 to August 2021. In this role, they were responsible for creating highly reusable components for product UI, developing new user-facing features, and building reusable code and libraries for future use. Venkatramanan also ensured the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimized the application for maximum speed and scalability. Additionally, Venkatramanan worked on building applications to assess JSON and XML from Restful web service from the backend side and performed service management and code refactoring for application enhancement and performance improvement.

Prior to Visual BI Solutions, Venkatramanan was a Frontend Developer at Adyog | Web & Mobile App Development Company from October 2016 to November 2018. In this role, they were involved in web design and development for the UI interface design, graphic design for printed materials and presentations, illustration, and logo design. Venkatramanan also developed wireframes and mockups for application storyboards and worked with the management team in identifying creative solutions for new marketing.

Venkatramanan's work experience also includes a role as a Trainee - Web Designer at Dream Dzines from December 2015 to October 2016. In this position, they were involved in web design and development for the UI interface design, graphic design for printed materials, and photoshop. Venkatramanan also worked as a UI Developer for internal applications and learned UI frameworks Bootstrap 3.

Additionally, Venkatramanan worked as a UPS Maintenance Engineer at Consul Neowatt Power Solutions Pvt Ltd from July 2015 to November 2015. In this role, they actively participated in the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of UPS systems. Venkatramanan also gained hands-on experience with Air Handling Units and set up Integrated Power Management Units.

Prior to that, Venkatramanan worked as a Service Engineer at Power Links Private Limited (Emerson Network) from July 2013 to June 2015. In this position, they gained knowledge and experience in handling electrical panels, provided support in installing distribution networks of the main power supply, and acquired insight into the operation and maintenance of high voltage stabilizers.

Venkatramanan Kannan completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Rajalakshmi Engineering College from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a High School Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Bhakthavachalam Polytechnic College from 2007 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in "React - The Complete Guide (incl Hooks, React Router, Redux)" from Udemy: Online Courses in June 2020.
