Cristin Wagner

Cristin Wagner is currently the VP & Head of Legal at Lumen Bioscience. Prior to their current position, they were with Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt as Of Counsel from November 2017 to December 2019. Before that, they were with Acacia Research as the Senior Vice President from April 2013 to September 2017. Her responsibilities at Acacia Research included developing strategies to maximize value through strategic enforcement, licensing and prosecution. Cristin also conducted IP landscape reviews involving a detailed analysis of patents, state of the ‎art and competitor activity. Prior to Acacia Research, Cristin Wagner was with Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP as a partner from January 2000 to March 2013. As a senior member of Life Sciences team, they were responsible for managing relationships with clients and leading a ‎team of junior partners, associates, paralegals and assistants. Cristin also Counseled Life Sciences clients on a wide ‎variety of legal and business issues relating to risk assessment, litigation strategy and dispute resolution ‎options. Furthermore, they managed all phases of complex multimillion-dollar patent infringement cases.‎

Cristin Wagner completed a Graduate Certificate in Biotechnology from Stanford University, a Doctor of Law (JD) from Dalhousie University, and a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Biochemistry from the University of Saskatchewan.

Cristin Wagner reports to Brian Finrow, CEO & Co-Founder. Cristin Wagner works with Craig Behnke - SVP, Production/Development, Jim Roberts - Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer, and Don Schlosser - CFO.
