David Vallas

David Vallas currently serves as VP Legal and Head of Data Access & Privacy at Owkin, a position held since January 2019, after previously acting as Legal Director at the same company. Responsibilities include managing data privacy and compliance, contract negotiations with academic and private partners for AI projects, and overseeing IT and consultancy contracts related to the MOSAIC Study. Prior experience includes Senior Legal Counsel at Owkin, a Juriste role at Institut Curie, and positions at Institut Pasteur, LOCAM, and various law firms as a trainee. David Vallas holds a Master 2 degree in Applied Business Law to the Health Industries from Université Jean Monnet Saint-Etienne, earned between 2006 and 2011.
