Mateen Fikree

Mateen Fikree is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in the telecommunications and information technology sectors. Currently serving as the Director of the Distributed Edge Group at Lumen Technologies since 2015, Mateen has held various leadership roles within the company, including Director of Technology Architecture and Manager of Solution Architect. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Architect at Lumen Technologies and Cable & Wireless, as well as positions such as Unix Product Development Manager and Senior Architect at Digital Island. Earlier in the career, Mateen worked as a Training Manager and Manager at AISG, and held training roles at Sun Microsystems and ERI. Mateen Fikree holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from Bucknell University.
