Nerelys Ortiz

Nerelys Ortiz, CPA, CGMA, currently serves as Vice President Finance - Product & IT at Lumen Technologies, overseeing the end-to-end planning, forecasting, and analysis function for the organization. Prior to this role, Ortiz held various finance leadership positions at Microsoft from 2012 to 2023, including WW MCAPS GPS Finance Director, where significant transformations were made to finance functions supporting Global Partner Solutions, and Solution BI Director, focused on building teams for product analytics. Ortiz has also contributed as National Treasurer for the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance & Accounting and served on the WSCPA Board, in addition to gaining extensive experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Professional Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of Washington.
