Dr. Namrata Upadhyay

Dr. Namrata Upadhyay has been working in the medical field since 2011. Dr. Namrata began their career as a Dental Assistant at Dentalno Medinski Center and then worked as a Dental Surgeon at Government Railway Hospital, Delhi and a Private Dental multispeciality clinic. In 2019, they began working as a Project Associate at Medidee and in 2020 they took on roles as a Clinical & Regulatory Associate and Team Manager Medical Writing and Safety Reporting at MD-CLINICALS SA. Also in 2020, they started their own business, NamNR Pro, as a Freelance MedTech Consultant providing services such as copywriting for digital marketing projects, website content creation, product brochure writing, academic manuscript writing, proof-reading and editing services and blog writing. In 2018, they began their role as a Section editor (Medical devices) and Chair of Expert Seminar Series (ESS) at the European Medical Writers Association (EMWA) and is still a Member there. In 2022, they will become a Senior Product Manager at Lumendo.

Dr. Namrata Upadhyay obtained a Bachelor's degree in Dentistry from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Agra between 2005 and 2011. Since then, they have obtained various certifications, including an EU Medical Device Regulatory Affairs certificate from WMDO - World Medical Device Organization in April 2020, a Certified Clinical Medical Device Associate from WMDO - World Medical Device Organization in March 2020, an EMBASE for literature monitoring certificate from Elsevier in August 2019, an ISO 13485:2016 - Design and development of medical devices certificate from Udemy in April 2019, an Implant Dentistry certificate from The University of Hong Kong in March 2019, a Design and Interpretation of Clinical Trials certificate from Johns Hopkins University in December 2018, a Drug Development certificate from University of California San Diego in December 2018, a Writing in the Sciences certificate from Stanford University in September 2018, a Genes and the Human Condition ( from Behavior to Biotechnology) certificate from University of Maryland in April 2016, a DELF B2 certificate from Ministère de l'education France, a Statistics for medical professionals certificate from Stanford University, and a Thinking critically: Interpreting randomized clinical trials certificate from Stanford University.
