Terhi Pesonen

Terhi Pesonen started their work experience in 2007 as an IAESTE-coordinator at The Student Union of Helsinki University of Technology. Terhi then worked as a Security Officer at Securitas Aviation Oy in 2008. In 2010, they were a Summer worker at Vaasan & Vaasan Oy. From 2011 to 2011, they were a Trainee/Thesis worker at LUMENE Oy, where they conducted research on microbiological safety in cosmetic products. Terhi then held various roles at LUMENE Oy from 2012 onwards, including R&D Chemist, Registration Manager, Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs Manager, R&D Manager, and currently as the Head of R&D (Skin Care) since September 2018. Terhi'sresponsibilities included ensuring compliance with cosmetic and chemical regulations, providing support to key stakeholders, and managing product safety and regulatory affairs.

Terhi Pesonen completed their Bachelor of Science (Tech.) degree at Aalto University School of Chemical Technology from 2006 to 2010. Terhi then pursued a Master of Science (Tech.) in Bioprocess Engineering and Food Engineering (Applied Microbiology) at the same institution from 2010 to 2011. In 2010, they also obtained a Food Hygiene Proficiency Certificate from Evira. Prior to university, Terhi attended Martinlaakson lukio, but specific dates are not provided.
