Coleman Brumley

Coleman Brumley is an experienced Expert Embedded Software Engineer at LumenRadio since February 2025, with a demonstrated history in building automation and software development. Coleman has served as Chair of the ANSI/ASHRAE SSPC 135 committee, also known as the BACnet Committee, since June 2001, having previously held the position of Vice Chair from July 2018 to July 2021. Prior to LumenRadio, Coleman worked at PassiveLogic as Principal I/O Sub-Systems Engineer and Principal Software Engineer, focusing on protocol development for building automation systems involving BACnet, Modbus, and IoT protocols. Additional experience includes roles at Setra Systems, PolarSoft, Inc., American Auto-Matrix, WESCO Distribution, and West Virginia University, with foundational education in Computer Science from West Virginia University and Business Administration from Penn State University.
