Alexandre Freitas

Alexandre Freitas is a Specialist Photonics Design and Characterization Engineer at Lumentum since August 2022, and holds a concurrent position as a Photonics Engineer at Idea Electronic Systems, where employment began in August 2018. Prior experience includes serving as PIC Design Manager at BrPhotonics from July 2016 to July 2018 and as a Researcher at CPqD from January 2011 to June 2016, with earlier work as an Intern. Alexandre's career began at Motorola as an Electronic Circuit Analyzer from January 2005 to March 2006. Academically, Alexandre attained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering - Telecommunications, a Master of Science (MSc) in the same field, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, along with a Technician degree in Electronic Technician from Colégio Técnico de Campinas.
