Brandon Collings

Brandon Collings is a seasoned technology executive with extensive expertise in optical communications and engineering. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Lumentum since August 2015, Brandon previously held the role of Chief Technology Officer for Optical Communications Products at JDSU from June 2006 to July 2015. Other notable positions include Optical System Architect at Ciena and Director of WDM Systems at Internet Photonics. Brandon began a career at Lucent Technologies, contributing as a Member of the Technical Staff at Bell Labs and as a Research Assistant at the Advanced Photonics Department. Educational accomplishments include a Ph.D. in Optical Physics and Engineering from Princeton University, along with a BS in Physics and Math from Hamilton College.
