Neha Sareen

Neha Sareen, Esq. CIPP US has extensive experience in legal roles, starting in 2011 as a Law Clerk at Ari Law Firm, P.C. Neha then went on to work as a Post-Bar Law Clerk and later as a Business & Commercial Litigation Attorney at the same firm. Sareen then joined Santino Law as a Business Litigation Attorney before working as a Complex Litigation Attorney at Bremer Whyte Brown & O'Meara in 2014. In 2015, they became a Corporate Counsel at PetersenDean Roofing and Solar and later served as Deputy General Counsel. Their responsibilities included product counseling, commercial negotiations, and privacy compliance work involving the CCPA. Sareen joined Lumentum in 2020 as a Senior Corporate Counsel, where they provided legal counsel to multiple business units and chaired the company's privacy program, ensuring compliance with various privacy laws. In 2023, they took on the role of Director (Commercial & Privacy) at Lumentum.

Neha Sareen, Esq. CIPP US holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology from the University of California, Davis. Neha also obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree with a focus on Business Law from the Golden Gate University, School of Law. In addition, they have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Cum Laude, from Santa Clara University. Neha further enhanced their expertise through additional certifications including "GDPR Compliance: Essential Training" and "Negotiation Foundations" from LinkedIn. Neha is also a licensed member of the California State Bar and holds the CIPP/US certification from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals.
