Tyler Ritter

Tyler Ritter is a software engineer with extensive experience in full-stack web development. Currently employed at Lumi since August 2022, Tyler utilizes technologies such as Typescript, React, NodeJS, MongoDB, AWS, Databricks, and Hightouch while managing a direct report. Previously, at Capital One from July 2018 to July 2022, Tyler advanced through various roles, ultimately serving as a Senior Software Engineer and team lead for the Virtual Numbers browser extension, which has over 200k monthly active users. Tyler's accomplishments include significant improvements in funding rates for web applications, leading development initiatives, mentoring junior developers, and leveraging a diverse tech stack including React, Javascript, and Python. Tyler also gained foundational experience as a software development intern at Faithlife and a fiber optics intern at Cleveland Electric Labs. Tyler holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Computer Science from Vanderbilt University.
