Daniel Herrera is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in digital systems development and signal processing. Currently serving as a Sr. Digital Systems Development Engineer at Lumileds since October 2021, Daniel previously held the position of Sr. Electronics Engineer at ALMA, where contributions included leading 40 development projects and optimizing engineering processes. Daniel's expertise also encompasses research and design work as a Research Engineer at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, where a new digital processing machine for the ALMA Observatory was proposed.
