James Lu

James Lu is an experienced leader in the sales and management sectors, currently serving as Managing Director at Lumileds since May 2020. Prior to this role, James held the position of Sales Director at Philips Automotive Lighting from June 2009, and has extensive experience from GE as Asia Distribution Sales Leader/Motors & Controls from June 2006 to June 2009, where responsibility included developing sales strategies. James participated in the GE Experienced Commercial Leadership Program, focusing on leadership development through hands-on training and coursework. Earlier career experience includes roles as China Sales Manager at ITT Cannon and China Sales & Marketing Manager at VACUUMSCHMELZE, where business growth initiatives were central. James began a career in technology at Omron, serving as Technical Department Manager and contributing to R&D efforts for advanced electronic components. James holds a degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and completed the GE ECLP program between 2006 and 2008.
