Piyush Kumar

Piyush Kumar has a strong background in operations and project management. Piyush started their career at Indo Kopp Ltd as a Senior Engineer, where they focused on productivity improvement and line balancing. Piyush then moved on to Moser Baer India Ltd as a Deputy Manager, responsible for facilities planning and project monitoring. Piyush later joined Aptara as a Deputy General Manager, leading a team of 200+ and focusing on consistent and predictable performance in operations. Piyush then worked at Thomson Digital as Chief Manager, where they led operations and customer service for the composition division. Piyush also held the position of Dy General Manager at Integra Software Services, where they had complete P&L ownership and was responsible for revenue growth and service delivery. Prior to their current role as Vice President of Operations at Lumina Datamatics Limited, Piyush served as the Operations Head at Innodata Inc. in Colombo, Sri Lanka, where they managed the conversion and composition division, scaled up the facility, and handled more than 100 customers in different capacities and languages.

Piyush Kumar obtained a B.E. degree in Industrial Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, from 1989 to 1993. Later, they pursued an MBA in Operation Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University between 2002 and 2005. In 2019-2020, Piyush completed a PG Diploma in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, specializing in ML & AI, from Amity University. Additionally, in 2022, they participated in the Senior Leaders Programme at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
