Gaayathri Ariyakumar, PhD

Gaayathri Ariyakumar, PhD is currently working as a Product Specialist at Luminance, a company that specializes in AI technology for legal contract processing. Gaayathri joined the company in August 2022. Before that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at King's College London from September 2020 to March 2022. Their role involved analyzing flow cytometric data from blood samples of preterm infants using R coding language. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Operations Officer at ANZUP Cancer Trials Group Limited from May 2020 to August 2020. In this role, they supported the clinical trials portfolio in urogenital cancers by coordinating research studies, liaising with study PIs and stakeholders, and managing research budgets.

Gaayathri Ariyakumar, PhD has an extensive education history. Gaayathri began their academic journey in 1996 at Boroko East International Primary School in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. From 1997 to 2003, they attended Winston Hills Public School in Sydney, Australia.

Continuing their education, Ariyakumar enrolled in Crestwood High School in Sydney from 2004 to 2009, where they completed their Higher School Certificate.

In 2010, they pursued a Bachelor of Medical Science (Hons Class I) at the University of Sydney, specializing in Immunology. Gaayathri successfully obtained their undergraduate degree in 2014.

Ariyakumar furthered their studies at the University of Sydney, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, and Neonatology from 2015 to 2020.

In addition to their academic achievements, Ariyakumar has obtained additional certifications. In July 2020, they completed the ICH Good Clinical Practice E6 (R2) certification from The Global Health Network. Gaayathri also obtained the Introduction to Good Clinical Laboratory Practice certification from the same institution during that same month and year.
