George Hajivassiliou

George Hajivassiliou is an R&D Engineer at Luminance since October 2023, focusing on prototyping and implementing new approaches to AI problems. Previously, George worked as a Development Engineer at Toshiba Europe Ltd from April 2021 to April 2023, contributing to the development of Quantum Key Distribution products. George also served as a Digital Transformation Officer at Cafepro Ltd and gained experience as an intern at Impact Tech Ltd, where skills in developing an Automatic Speech Recognition tool were acquired. Additionally, George conducted research as a student researcher at Imperial College London, worked as a volunteer teacher, and served in the National Guard of Cyprus, handling financial operations. George holds an MSci in Physics from Imperial College London, earned between 2016 and 2020, and completed A Levels at Acropolis Lyceum and Electra Private Institute from 2012 to 2015.
