Katharine Martin

Katharine (Katie) Martin is an accomplished legal professional and corporate leader with extensive experience in corporate and securities law. Currently a Board Member at Luminar Technologies since February 2021, Martin serves as Chair of the Compensation Committee and is a member of the Nominating and Governance Committee. As a Senior Partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati since 1999, Martin has held various leadership positions, including Chair of the board of directors and leader of the business law department. Additionally, Martin has served on the board of directors of Nuance Communications, where Katharine (Katie) chaired the Governance Committee, and was a Partner at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman from 1987 to 1999. Martin holds a J.D. with Great Distinction from the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law and a B.A. in Anthropology with General Distinction from the University of California, Berkeley.
