Pantelis K.

Pantelis (Peter) K. is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in both engineering management and technical support across the optics and telecommunications industries. Currently serving as an NPI Engineer and Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Luminar Technologies since May 2018, Pantelis has successfully led projects such as the transfer of laser-transceiver module production to a contract manufacturer in Thailand and improved receiver yield by 2X in three weeks. Previous roles include Senior Application Engineer at Princeton Lightwave, Independent Consultant, Asia Sales Manager at Custom-Cal, and Product Engineering Manager at JDSU, where significant contributions included building an engineering team in Shenzhen and transferring key product lines. Pantelis holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from National Technological University and additional degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Applied Orthodox Theology.
