James Hearn, MHA has a long and varied work experience in healthcare operations. James began their career in 2004 at Harris Health System as an Administrative Resident and Assistant Administrator at Ben Taub General Hospital. In 2006, they joined Valley Baptist Health System as a Six Sigma Black Belt in-training and Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, where they mentored leaders through the Six Sigma DMAIC methodology and facilitated improvements in patient care and operational efficiencies. In 2010, they moved to US Oncology as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, where they were responsible for maintaining three physician practice client relationships in the Western & Central United States. In 2011, they returned to Harris Health System as an Administrative Director, EVS & Linen, where they insourced a $16M housekeeping and linen operation. In 2014, they joined Catholic Health Initiatives as System Director, Clinical & Process Excellence, where they deployed a lean management strategy in troubled market based organizations and new acquisitions. In 2017, they joined ECG Management Consultants as a Senior Consultant, bringing more than 15 years of experience in healthcare as an operational leader and a trusted adviser on performance excellence and program management. Most recently, they joined Luminare as Vice President Operations, Senior Director, Operations, and Senior Director, Client Operations.

James Hearn, MHA, received their High School Diploma from St. Augustine High School in 1998. James then attended Texas A&M University, where they earned a B.S. in Microbiology in 2002. James went on to Trinity University and obtained an M.S. in Healthcare Administration in 2004.
