Collin Lee has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. In 2009, they were a Customer Service and Technical Support Representative for Always Innovating. In 2010 and 2011, they were an Enterprise Firmware Test and Tools Engineer Intern for Hitachi GST. In 2012, they were a Graduate Technical Intern for Intel Corporation, where they owned and developed data mining and automated data scrubbing tools for post-silicon debug, authored a formal specification for data logging scheme, and managed changing requirements and deadlines delivering critical features and updates in high-pressure situations. In 2014, they were an Engineering Consultant for Cloud Architecture and a XSeed Fellow for XSeed Capital. In 2016, they were a Software Engineer Intern for Salesforce. From 2013 to 2021, they were a Graduate Research Assistant for Stanford University, where they developed a new communication primitive to reduce latency for high-performance, distributed applications, and contributed to the presentation of a new programing model for writing Distributed, Concurrent, and Fault-Tolerant (DCFT) modules in distributed systems. Currently, they are a Software Engineer for Luminary Cloud.
Collin Lee began their educational journey in 2008, when they graduated from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering. Collin then attended Stanford University from 2012-2014, where they earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering. Afterwards, they returned to Stanford University from 2014-2017, earning a Master of Science in Computer Science. Finally, they completed their educational journey in 2021, when they earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from Stanford University.
