Jonathan Ho has six years of work experience. Jonathan began in 2013 as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at CMP Engineers. In 2014, they were a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Cochlear. From 2013 to 2016, they were a Teaching Assistant for MECH2210 (Intermediate Dynamics), METR4201 (Control Systems), and MECH2305 (Introduction to Engineering Design and Manufacturing) at The University of Queensland. In 2016, they were a Noise Vibration Harshness CAE Engineer at Ford Motor Company. From 2016 to 2022, they were a PhD Candidate at Stanford University, where they identified and analyzed existing limitations in a computational fluid dynamics solver, proposed and implemented an enhanced algorithm with smoothness guarantees, and upgraded an in-house python-based optimization suite. In 2022, they began working as a Software Engineer at Luminary Cloud.
Jonathan Ho received their Bachelor of Engineering & Commerce from The University of Queensland in 2015, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Jonathan then went on to Stanford University to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Aeronautics and Astronautics, which they completed in 2017. Jonathan is currently enrolled in Stanford University's Doctor of Philosophy - PhD program in Aeronautics & Astronautics, which they began in 2018 and is expected to complete in 2022. Prior to their university studies, Jonathan Ho attended St Joseph's College, Gregory Terrace from 2003 to 2010.
